New rear garden football pitch

Following my work on this families front garden (Front Rose garden) they asked me to clear and update the back garden to give them more room to enjoy and play.

They wanted to make the garden bigger, leave a border on one side for planting and make more room on the patio area. We discussed either real turf or artificial lawn and in the end decided artificial lawn was a better option, given the two children (and Dad) playing on it and the family dog it would stop any mud coming into the house.

I cleared the rear garden of larger shrubs, two trees beds and flowers, I also removed the large overgrown grape vine from the pergola. I re-planted some shrubs and an Acer in the new border area  and trimmed back the remaining trees.

I made the new border a raised sleeper border to save any new flowers / plants from incoming footballs. The patio dividing wall was raised up and new paving slabs added to the top to make seats, a new step up to the new lawn, which had also been levelled off slightly.

A simple garden to do but a big impact and now very much ready for family friendly fun !

Love it, Amazing transformation. Thanks for all your hard work.
