This is a good one to show as it is a common request.
When houses are being made ready for sale sometimes the garden can be overlooked. The garden is one of the areas that people will take note on, this is because interior design or style will differ from person to person. Potential buyers will see how they could change the house to suit them, but the garden is one thing they wouldn’t necessarily want to spend much time or money on. Giving a potential buyer a clean, tidy, healthy garden will be a huge plus and should go a long way in the final sale. This is just as much for the front garden as the rear, kerb appeal is one of the biggest reasons people will buy a house, decisions on a house purchase can be made in the first minute of arrival, an untidy overgrown front garden will put people off, it’s the first and last thing they will see !
This house was ready for sale but the garden needed to be freshened up. The owners we’re keen gardeners and had a wonderful selection of trees, shrubs and flowers planted. The lawn had become the family dog’s own playing ground and over time been left in a bad way, I was asked to clear the borders of weeds and dead or dying flowers, take up the old lawn and lay a new one down and give the rest of the garden a good tidy up (leaves cleared, patio cleaned etc). Along with this we cleared a pond area ready for some new planting, cleared and tidied the front garden and driveway, and some general maintenance (new gate latch etc).
The owners we’re happy with the finished garden and it was ready for the estate agent to visit and take their pictures.
” Ben impressed us from the start, as he took the time to really understand what we were trying to achieve and why. He made a couple of really good suggestions that showed he was clear on our objective. The work was done exactly when he promised, and in the time he’d said, and the results are even better than we’d hoped. More importantly, it looks as we wanted it to, which confirms that Ben understood what we wanted to do. We’ve got a garden we can use and keep under control again – and one that will be a real asset to our home. We wouldn’t hesitate to use GreenBee again if we have an opportunity, and we recommend them absolutely and with no hesitation”
