News from 2013 & on with 2014.
I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone I’ve met and worked for this year, 2013 has been a very busy year (after a slow unexpected snowy start ! )
I’ve been lucky enough to meet and work for some genuinely lovely people on some great projects, these included several designs, design and builds and simple one off jobs – I’m also lucky enough to be going back to some of these homes for further projects next year.
A busy and rewarding 2013 has been topped off with Greenbee Gardening being awarded the ongoing landscape maintenance contract for the new Taylor Wimpy homes developments in Church Crookham, Fleet, Hampshire starting in January 2014.
We’ve also been shortlisted for the Scoot Headline Business Award, fingers crossed for the final decision in January 2014.
And on with this year, we already have some exciting new projects planned for the start of 2014 including a new Mediterranean design and build, two redesign landscaping builds, a triangular garden and a sensory garden design and build for a lovely young girl called Neve who suffers with Dravet Syndrome. Neve’s parents were given a grant from Variety UK for some outside musical instruments and I’ve been asked to design and make the sensory garden to accommodate these. You can learn more about Neve on her website www.stayclosetoneve.com
This year we’ll also be hoping to have our on-line shop going live, a design display at the Chelsea Fringe event and taking on some new staff.
Thank you again to all I’ve met this year with Greenbee Gardening and Urban Goat Garden Design – whether I did all, some or none of your work I can’t think of one person I met that wasn’t friendly, accommodating and happy to listen to me rabble on about gardens !
A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL.
Ben.
