I approached Greenbee Gardening for some inspiration for my very old and tired looking front garden. My only request to Ben was for it to be ‘low maintenance’. Thanks to Ben’s creative genius, he delivered a totally stunning and unique transformation to the garden. Had so many compliments about how the garden looks now, I cannot recommend Ben and his team highly enough. Thanks a lot to everyone at Greenbee.

Ben completely transformed our overgrown, unloved and underused garden into a wonderful family space.  His attention to detail in the planning, design and build really made all the difference - lights in the decking and along the path, thoughtful choice of plants and excellent use of the space available. I had an unusual project for Ben: musical sensory ‘pods’ for my disabled daughter, Neve, to fit within my existing garden. Ben put a great deal of thought into the designs and was a real perfectionist when it came to making them a reality. Ben did a fantastic job and has transformed our garden from a sloped, boggy, not very usable space to a lovely, fresh clean-feeling space that we can't wait to spend time in and enjoy once we have some dry weather! Ben was really hard-working and had to deal with some unforeseen challenges (including sink holes which were a surprise discovery!) but he did a really thorough, meticulous job. Ben's passionate about garden design as well as build and we really valued his creative input and enthusiasm for making the space look great. Our front garden was in need of a complete renovation, the grey slate was patchy and the shrubs and trees were overgrown. We wanted the area to be more family-friendly with a lawn and a small area for a bench to enjoy the late afternoon sunshine. Ben listened to our ideas and requirements and delivered a modern and attractive design proposal with suggestions for planting and hard landscaping. He then worked extremely hard to clear the space, cutting the sandstone patio beautifully and positioning the bar-less picket fence which has really added to the garden aesthetic. Ben was great to work with; he offered suggestions and was happy to discuss any tweaks or changes. He worked in a tidy manner and kept to our budget, he has a real passion for gardening and landscape design and has given us a garden to enjoy every day.

From our first meeting to completing the work Ben has been professional, courteous and honest. Moreover, he is passionate and knowledgeable about his work.  We are delighted with the garden and would thoroughly recommend Greenbee Gardening.

“We had purchased a brand new house and the rear garden was just rotavated with the exception of a small (and useless) patio area.  We had some preconceptions of what we were looking for regarding size of patio & lawn areas and on his first visit Ben provided some excellent advice on how we should progress, reducing the size of the proposed patio slightly, increasing the lawn area and suggesting a path down the side of the garden to the shed. Once we had finalised the format Ben scheduled in the work and we are all delighted with the final results.  Ben built a much larger patio and pathway over a slightly sloping site so had to include levelling and stepping.  Once the patio and pathway were completed the remainder of the garden was turfed, with the boarders getting a final touch of green slate stones to finish the edging.  We now have a lovely usable garden, well-proportioned and excellently laid out.  Greenbee’s work was first class and they left the site clean & tidy.  Ben insisted on performing additional work late in the evening to ensure we had a fully completed garden even though this wasn’t part of our original agreement – he just wanted to make sure everything was complete and we could get on with using the garden. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ben and Greenbee Gardening for patio and turfing work and I am thoroughly please with the final result. “

Ben and Greenbee gardening were recommended to us by a friend. Having heard good things about the work GreenBee Gardening had been doing in the local area I asked Ben to come round and give me some ideas on how I could landscape my garden to get the most out of the space. Ben showed a huge amount of imagination (needed as it’s a relatively small garden) and put together a couple of designs for me that were fantastic. Similarly, when it came round to the actual landscaping he provided an extremely efficient and professional service. I absolutely love the end result and couldn’t recommend GreenBee Gardening any higher.

Ben did a fantastic job with our garden. He worked very hard to repair our lawn, with new turf and seeding, and create a bespoke child's play area. Ben is an honest worker and you never feel like you are not getting good value for money. He always discusses contemporary design ideas but never imposes them on you.
